Dr. Akinmayowa is a researcher in the area of African Religion and Culture, with particular emphasis on Inter-Religious Dialogue and African Traditional Medicine. He had his undergraduate degree in Philosophy, graduated from University of Ibadan in 1996; Masters in Philosophy in 2006from University of Ibadan, and a Ph.D. in African Religion and Belief System from the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan in 2013.Over the years he has engaged in researches in the area of African Traditional Medicine and African Culture, he has taught and mentored undergraduate students. He is a member of different academic association as well as associates of different traditional medical practitioners associations. He has written a number of chapters in books as well as a number of publications.
