Prof. Aina is a Clinical Pharmacy specialist with focus on Health Promotion and Rational use of drugs. She has her undergraduate degree  in Pharmacy, graduated from University of Ife (Now Obafemi Awolowo University) in 1982; Masters in Pharmaceutics in Pharmacy discipline from University of Ife (Now Obafemi Awolowo University) in 1985 and a Phd in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Lagos in 2005, Master of Scince in Public Health at the University of Lagos 2007. Over the 35 years of experience, conducted research in Pharmaceutics and Clinical Pharmacy. She has mentored over 1000 students. Some of them are owners of Pharmaceutical Companies, Lecturers up to Professorial level in Universities. She has worked in the hospitals and lectured at University of Ibadan before joining University of Lagos in December 1992. She is a member of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria; Fellow of West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists, International Union of Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) International Association of Public Health Logisticians (IAPHL) and International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) among others.

 She has over 60 publications made up of papers in reputable peer reviewed journals and Abstracts/papers presented at Local and International Conferences. She won a research grant from the University of Lagos Central Research grant in 2002.
