NUBI Oluseun Peter M.B,Ch.B (Ogun); MPH (Nicaragua); FWACP

Dr. NUBI is a Consultant Psychiatrist with focus on community mental health, consultation-liaison psychiatry and suicidology. He has his undergraduate degree in Medicine and Surgery and graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State in 2006; He had his Masters of Public Health in 2015 from Universidad Central de Nicaragua. He also became a fellow of West African College of Physicians in 2015. Dr Nubi has had about 10 years’ experience in Psychiatry (2009-date), conducted research in suicidology, consultation-liaison psychiatry, medication adherence, quality of life and in community mental health. He has mentored four students so far since he started his career as a Lecturer 1 in the department of Psychiatry two years ago (2016-Date). He has worked as a humanitarian and public health advocate for the past 10 years and presently, he coordinates The Real Visionaries Initiative - a health-based non-governmental organization committed to improving the health of indigent Nigerians. He is also a committed member of Suicide Research and Prevention Initiative (SURPIN). He has also served as Publicity Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Nigerian Medical Association, Lagos Branch.

Dr Nubi is a member of Association of Psychiatrists in Nigeria (where he has once served as her publicity officer). He is also a member of World Psychiatrist Association (WPA). He has 10 publications and 11 abstracts / conference proceedings.

He is currently the examination officer for the Department of Psychiatry, College of Medicine, University of Lagos.
